I am a Professor of Communication at the University of California, San
Diego.  I have read with great sadness about the way in which striking
workers have been treated at the Dae Woo factories.  I know that these
workers deserve a living wage and to be treated with respect, not
repression.

Please realize that there are many people in the United States who
support these workers and their union.  We will not buy products made
with non-union labor.
